Sweet Potato Puree
This is a great side for meat dishes- It’s both savory and sweet and a nice change from just plain roasted potatoes. Nothing wrong with something a little different, especially when it’s this easy.
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- tiny pinch nutmeg and cumin
- Sprinkle of salt
Preparation
Chop sweet potato and toss with all other ingredients. Roast at 350 until very tender. Blend on high in food process until smooth and serve immediately.

I made almost this very thing for Christmas dinner! Except I used ginger rather than the nutmeg and cumin. But that sounds good for next time.
