Seafood Bowl

This is just a giant bowl of delicious seafood. Serve it with warm bread and a big bowl for shells. Mix and match the seafood and fish to whatever you like, just don’t overwhelm the flavors with a bunch of extra stuff. This is a very simple recipe with the fish and seafood being center stage.

  • 12 fresh clams
  • 12 fresh muscles
  • 1 piece red snapper
  • 3 bunches of baby bok choy
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small fennel bulb
  • 1 bottle dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley roughly chopped
  • salt & pepper

Wash shell fish very well. In a large pot, bring wine to a boil. Drop in clams & muscles and chunks of fish. Cook for about 3 min. Discard any unopened shells. In a skillet, saute onions, thinly sliced fennel and garlic in butter until soft. Season with salt and pepper and and add mixture to seafood and wine mixture. Add bok choy and simmer for 4 minutes. Pour into deep bowls and garnish with fresh parsley.
